    The Junior Oilers Blue are seeking a dedicated and experienced Defensive Coach to join our team. This position involves coaching and developing defensive players, working closely with the Head Coach, and contributing to the overall success of the team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement defensive strategies and drills.

    • Provide individual coaching to defensemen.

    • Assist in game preparation and analysis.

    • Foster a positive and competitive environment for players.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous coaching experience.

    • Strong understanding of defensive strategies and techniques.

    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

    • Ability to work well with athletes and other coaching staff.

  • Job Description: Entry-Level Video Coach

    The U18 AAA Edmonton Junior Oilers Blue are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented entry-level Video Coach to join our team. This position involves assisting with video analysis, preparing game footage, and supporting the coaching staff with video breakdowns and on ice for practice.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with reviewing and analyzing game and practice footage.

    • Help prepare video clips for team and player evaluations.

    • Organize and maintain video files.

    • Support the coaching staff with video presentations.

    Qualifications:

    • Basic knowledge of hockey and game strategy.

    • Familiarity with video editing software (training provided).

    • Strong organizational and communication skills.

    • Eagerness to learn and grow in a coaching role.
