Junior Oilers White to Face University of Alberta Pandas: Free Game!

Following their impressive, sweeping victory at the 2024 Firestarter Tournament, Junior Oilers White are set to compete against the University of Alberta Pandas women’s hockey team tomorrow, Tuesday, September 17, at 6:45 pm at Bill Hunter Arena (BHA). The game is free to attend, and fans are encouraged to wear their team jerseys or Edmonton Oilers gear to support the teams.

The Junior Oilers, with 11 players committed to NCAA Division 1 or USports programs post-graduation, are excited to face the Pandas, who feature nine players from the Edmonton area, including many former stars from EGHA (now EFHA), St. Albert Minor Hockey, Sherwood Park Minor Hockey, and Fort Sask Minor Hockey. Notably, the game will feature a reunion with former Junior Oilers player Misty Rey, the Pandas current netminder, and current Junior Oilers Assistant Coach Izzy LaJoie.
