Junior Oilers Continue Legacy of Development with 17 Collegiate Commitments
As a team, we’re incredibly proud of what our Junior Oilers White U18 AAA family accomplished during the 2024-25 season. While we enjoyed team/individual success on the ice, our program's primary goal has always been to support our players in reaching — and being fully prepared for — the next level. This season, that commitment truly paid off. Seventeen of our twenty athletes have earned signings/commitments to NCAA Division I or U Sports programs, setting a new benchmark for both our team and the AFHL. The only three players without commitments are our young guns, who will begin pursuing their own post-secondary opportunities starting June 15.
Team and individual successes are always great feelings, but our top priority remains helping our players take the next step and achieve long-term success beyond our program. Building a positive, player-first culture is at the heart of everything we do, and we believe that both team success and post-secondary opportunities are direct results of that culture. Our goal is to continue setting the standard for post-secondary advancement through the dedication and development of our athletes.
